Kiswahili Instructional Materials

arrow bulletI. KISWAHILI: LUGHA NA UTAMADUNI - INSTRUCTIONAL DVD SERIES AND TEACHING-WITH-VIDEO CD COMPANION MANUAL

aa The twenty-three lesson videos contain authentic footage obtained from the East African country of Tanzania. We were able to capture a realistic picture of the Swahili-speaking people, their language, natural environment, and culture. We were also able to bring to the screen the Kiswahili varieties as spoken in Tanzania, the kind of Kiswahili to which a researcher or a visitor will be exposed.

The Student CD handbook is designed to be used as a companion to KIKO, the Swahili online materials (www.africa.uga.edu/Kiswahili/doe). The handbook can be used as a reinforcement of the materials on KIKO and can be used to review the material on the KIKO video. kiko disk picture
