Ted Ghebreyesus Assistant Coordinator, Project Management and Programming
Teodros (Ted) Ghebreyesus is the Assistant Coordinator of Project Management for Classroom Support and Learning Spaces within the Center for Teaching and Learning.
His main responsibilities are working on projects - both the engineering and programming - from their inception phase to their completion. Ted consults, designs and installs classroom technology systems, and programs the control systems. He works in collaboration with such departments as Facilities Management, Campus Reservations and EITS. Also, Ted oversees the classroom support needs around campus. He is available to assist with any classroom support issue or concern. Prior to his promotion to this current position, he was the classroom support specialist for Central Campus.
Ted holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic and has a CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification from InfoComm International. He is currently working towards getting a CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist-Design).
Outside of work, Ted enjoys photography, keeping up with world affairs, learning languages and traveling. More than anything else, he enjoys spending time with family. Ted and his wife are proud new parents of a baby girl. Even though he calls Athens home, Ted is originally from Eritrea, in North East Africa.
