High-Impact Strategies in Large-Enrollment Courses

High impact educational practices engage students in active learning both in and out of the classroom to increase opportunities for deep, integrated learning and positively influence student success – particularly students from underserved populations (Kuh 2008). In this workshop, participants will discuss examples of high impact practices that can be implemented in the large class setting and will develop actionable steps to accomplish the desired learning from high impact practices in individual courses.
