Clickers

There are many different clickers available today. CTL supports the Turning Technologies ResponseCard NXT clicker and recommends that faculty use TurningPoint AnyWhere for collecting responses. Faculty may choose instead to use TurningPoint (a PowerPoint add-on that works best on PCs) with these clickers. TurningKey is another option for self-paced assessments. All of the faculty software is available for download via UGA Sitesoft. If you have any questions, please contact CTL clicker support via e-mail: clickers@uga.edu.

For Instructors:
If you plan to give students points for participation and/or correct answers, you must Create a Class for Students to Register their Clickers (get help with this).
To allow students to use smart phones or Web browser for polling, contact Sherry Clouser for an instructor account and instructions for initiating ResponseWare in class. 

For Students:
If you expect to receive points for clicker activities, you must register your clicker! Learn how: How to Register Your Clicker

IF your instructor the use of smart phones or Web browser for polling (most do not allow this option), he or she will provide the information to purchase a ResponseWare license.

Workshops

Workshops are scheduled each semester for Faculty, Instructors, and TAs who are interested in using clickers. If possible, plan to attend the workshops the semester before using clickers.
