Alex Berglund Learning Technologies Graduate Assistant

Alex Berglund is a graduate assistant at the Center for Teaching and Learning, and her main responsibility is providing assistance for faculty at UGA with enterprise learning technologies, such as eLC.
She is a Ph.D. student in Language and Literacy Education, with an emphasis in Children’s Literature, at The University of Georgia. She received her Master of Arts in Reading Education and Bachelor of Arts in English from UGA. Her past research examined (dis)ability in award-winning young adult novels and the implied and ideal reader of these texts. Her current work focuses on (dis)ability in picturebooks, educational technology, and pop culture in the classroom. Alex currently serves as the Production Editor for the Journal of Language and Literacy Education and the Masters Liaison for the Language and Literacy Graduate Organization.
Alex enjoys baking, traveling, and hiking with her husband, Michael, and their two dogs, Max and Lola.
